Marton Mere Nature Reserve - Situated directly next to the campsite, it provides pleasant and interesting walks.

Camelot Theme Park - Only 20 minutes drive from Marton Mere Holiday Village. The magical world of camelot is filled with wondrous rides, spectacular shows and spellbinding attractions! There's everything from a fearsome spinning roller coaster to a friendly animal farm, with lots to discover under cover (if you check out their website they often have offers).

Blackpool Pleasure Beach - Full of great rides and attractions for all of the family such as the Pepsi Max Big One, Ice shows, International circus plus loads more.

Blackpool Tower and Circus - Aquarium, Circus, Ballroom, Family rides, Play areas and lots more can be found at what must be Blackpools most famous attraction.

The Illuminations

Model Village and Gardens - Set in 2 1/2 acres. Stride like Gulliver in Lilliput through tree lined gardens to view hand crafted models that represent life's rich tapestry. This is an experience to delight young and not so young.

Louis Tussaud's Waxworks - situated on the Central Promenade and open from Easter to October. Here you can find famous film stars and personalities portrayed in wax. Includes a chamber of horrors and anatomy section.
Sea Life Centre - Experience close encounters with an amazing collection of marine and freshwater creatures including sharks, rays, seahorses and piranhas.

Stanley Park - This 256 acre park has absolutely loads to offer. Skate park, Tennis courts, Children's Playground, Golf, Boating Lakes, Cycle Paths, Trampolines and lots more. A great way to spend a day away from the hustle and bustle of Blackpool Centre.

Fleetwood Market - One of the oldest traditional markets in Lancashire. Over 250 stalls in 3 halls.
Whitmore Fisheries - 120 pegs on 9 waters. Carp, Roach, Bream, Chub, Barbel, Roach and Tench. Facilities on site include Cafe, toilets and shop area.

Martin Mere - Situated 6 miles from Ormskirk and 10 miles from Southport. A wetland environment for a diverse collection of species. Similar to, but not to be confused with Marton Mere.
Lancaster Castle - This Grade 1 listed building is one of the best preserved castles in the country.
Lancaster Maritime Museum - Discover the city's links with its maritime past.
Morcambe Bay - An important area for wildlife in the British Isles. Provides some excellent walks and scenery.
British Commercial Vehicle Museum - Leyland, Lancashire has for the past 20 years been dedicated to preserving the history of the road transport industry in the UK. It is one if Britain's most important heritage collections spanning a centaury of truck and bus building.
